Day 27: Dublin, Ireland

Today we visited some very touristy areas of Dublin. Unlike the other parts of Ireland we have visited, Dublin is super crowded.
Our hostel is Sky Backpackers and is located very close to everything we visited today.
We first went to the Book of Kells exhibit at Trinity College. You actually see very little of the illuminated manuscripts and it is crazy crowded, but it was still neat. The library at Trinity College is amazing and I think it is the library from the Harry Potter movies. It is probably the coolest library, aside from the US Library of Congress, I have ever visited.
We next went to Dublin Castle. It is an important set of historical buildings used by the Irish government. The Irish President  is inaugurated there.
Very close by is the Chester Beatty Library which has cool, old books, a few maps, and, awesomely,  some more Dürers.
We had some delicious falafel at Umi Falafel then walked to the National Museum-Archeology branch. It held amazing Irish artifacts. Afterwards, we checked out the Georgian architecture around Merrion Square.
We came back at dinner time to the hostel to cook potatoes for tomorrow and noodles for dinner. The kids enjoyed playing poker together while dinner cooked.
