We slept in a little this morning. It was welcome and needed. After a quick breakfast I worked on the blog and the boys helped move some furniture around the house. Since we always move so slowly, it was almost 11 by the time we left the house. We headed to Mahoney State Park. We walked through the Conservatory, which had plants that people grow in their yards in Florida. It was entertaining.
We started an 18-hole disc golf game. The front 9 holes were under renovation and it was a bit confusing and quite muddy in places. The back 9 holes were in much better shape. I am pretty sure the last two holes had disc magnets in the trees. It was an excellent way to spend a Sunday.
As the game ended, the sun came out and the cold wind died down.We climbed the observation tower and enjoyed views of the Platte River.
We left the park and headed to Volcanic Pepper, a hot sauce store in Bellevue. My sister went home to finalize another homemade meal. Volcanic Pepper was so fun to visit. They have samples of all of their products. We left with too much hot sauce and mouths on fire.
At home, we ate Japanese curry. We showered, did laundry, and played more Jackbox games. We took a break for nachos and then hung out for a bit longer before heading to bed.
Yay hot sauce!
