Day 4 - Shopping and White Park Bay - Europe 2022

Shopping and White Park Bay

Still waking up super tired. Spent the morning working on the blog. Everyone was tired from the very busy and walking intensive past few days. This morning Vanessa struggled to find a direct bus route from Belfast Airport to Dublin Airport. We thought that we had solved that dilemma a couple of days ago, but apparently not.

Despite the large amount of food purchased the night we arrived, we needed to go back to the grocery store for more. Vanessa and I drove to EuroSpar while the boys stayed home. We finally found the gluten-free section, placed conveniently on the cleaning supply aisle.

Edon got off work early and was able to join us for a second attempt at getting to White Park Bay.

The tide was low, which made it super easy for us to follow the Ulster Way/ Causeway Coast Way to White Park Bay. There is a sandy beach in this area. There are also areas with a rocky beach or cliff face down to the water, which seem to be the more common coastal features here. We all spent an enjoyable afternoon walking around the beach and playing on the rocks.

Back at the Airbnb we made a pasta dinner. Then, we relaxed and aimed to get in bed earlier than previous evenings. Kyle and Edon stayed up the latest, playing on their computers. The internet and cell service isn’t working well at the Airbnb, so it is making certain activities more difficult. Edon and Kyle tried to play video games together but weren’t able to and ended up each playing the same game offline. I can’t upload photos to the blog. Vanessa can’t buy her bus tickets back to the airport. Oh well. Makes one realize how dependent on the internet one is!
